About Doon Tales

Doon Tales aims at providing easy, self-readable stories for children. It covers wide variety of story books ranging from stories focussed on fun, adventure to those based on values and education. The content is penned with age-appropriate innocence and even challenging concepts are communicated in simple, childish, and lively manner.

Doon Tales is an initiative by Dr. Kunal Das (MD, FNB) and Dr. Vedika Agrawal (Ph.D.) to imbibe reading habit and values in young children and help them discriminate between the good and the bad. Meet the Team

Dr. Kunal
He is a pediatric oncologist and stem cell transplant expert by profession. His art of telling stories to children inspired the compilation of stories in Doontales. He can explain the topic in interesting narratives and can engage children in his unique stories. He is a novelist and has penned many hindi novels including the current one- Kedarnath-2013. He is a good painter and a very good listener.
Dr. Vedika Agrawal
She is PhD from IIT Delhi, a busy engineer and researcher. She is the driving force for Doontales. She has a unique ability to give the raw stories, a shape of masterpiece. She is an avid learner and a sharp critic. Having good command over language and a better understanding of kids’ way of learning, she is heading all editorial part of Doontales along with her story contributions.
